LAST UPDATED 20 AUGUST 2026

This page covers the Kelomins marketing site only. It does not cover the game, which is not released.

Who runs this

[LEGAL NAME OR TRADING NAME — set before launch] is the data controller for this site. For anything on this page, write to [CONTACT EMAIL — set before launch].

What we store, and when

Nothing at all until you type an email address into the signup form and press Notify me. There is no login, no shopping basket, and no profile.

When you do submit the form, one row is written to a Cloudflare D1 database:

  • The email address you typed, lowercased.
  • The utm_* values in the link you arrived through, if any. These tell us which ad or post brought you here.
  • Your country, as Cloudflare reports it from the network. Not your town, not your address.
  • Your browser's user-agent string.
  • A one-way salted hash of your IP address. We never store the address itself. The hash exists so one machine cannot submit the form hundreds of times.
  • The time of the submission.

Why we are allowed to hold it

You gave consent when you submitted the form, and consent is our lawful basis under Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR and EU GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as giving it.

We use the address for one thing: telling you about Kelomins. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone outside the processors listed below.

Who processes it for us

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, the form endpoint, and the D1 database that holds the list. Cloudflare also keeps short-lived request logs for the site.
  • MailerLite — sends the emails. Your address is copied there when the list is connected to it.
  • Google (Analytics 4) and TikTok (advertising pixel) — page and ad measurement.

Cloudflare, Google and TikTok are US companies. Transfers out of the UK and EEA rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum.

Analytics and advertising: current state

As of the date above, no analytics or advertising scripts are loaded on this site. Their vendor IDs are blank, so nothing is requested from Google or TikTok and no cookies are set by them. This section applies from the day we switch them on, and we will change the date at the top of this page when we do.

The site itself sets no cookies. Your browser stores your email address locally, on your own device, so the form shows it back to you on a return visit. Clearing your browser data removes it.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or until Kelomins launches and the list has done its job — whichever comes first. If the project is abandoned, the database is deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or send it to you in a portable file. You can also object to us using it. Write to the address above and we will act within 30 days. There is no charge.

Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe. Unsubscribing removes you from MailerLite; say the word and we delete the D1 row too.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to your own national supervisory authority in the EEA.

Children

This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly hold their data. If a child has signed up, write to us and we will delete the row.
